Abdias Omar Banda Torres, an 18-year-old Mexican immigrant, came to the U.S. in search of an adventure. Nearly two years later, his adventure left him as a full-time harvester for Stone Hill Winery, living in a trailer with four other Mexican workers: all twice his age. Omar finds himself isolated from society. Away from his family in Mexico and removed from interaction with others his age, he yearns to find the companionship he envisioned home in Mexico.
Caught between two worlds, Omar struggles to live out his youth. He will return home to Mexico at the end of October, ready, to chase another dream, but in a place that he can call "home" in the presence of family, friends, and girls.
