Since the early 1800's, the Riverview Cemetery of Louisiana has welcomed over 15,000 residents home. Every morning, the Silent City comes to life. With the Baird's first to awake to see the sun break the horizon, then the Smiths with Alma wanting to sleep in. Some like the Rudd's take a little longer to get the kinks out. Before long, the entire city is awake with its workers beginning to start the daily routine of grounds keeping and the residents console visitors. And all are greeted with a gentle hand.
