Wally’s wife, C.J., seen with him here, plays a huge part in his life. His
office contains evidence gathered from the 16-year love affair that is their
marriage. There are cards from C.J. to Wally framed and mounted on the
wall. There are so many pictures of her alone or the two of them together
that they are viewable from every conceivable angle. C.J., who retires from
her courthouse job in 2007, is now heavily lobbying Wally to retire in 2008
when his term ends.
