Raised from childhood in Betty’s church, Faith Baptist in Festus, Bethany also attends two other local churches. One, The Cave, features a youth-oriented program on Wednesdays, where Bethany meets up with friends for prayer and to listen to Christian bands.

Betty isn’t especially pleased with Bethany’s religious exploration, and while she is willing to drive her daughter to other churches’ events, Betty also requires Bethany’s presence for Sunday morning services at Faith Baptist.
