After two visits from the police in less than an hour, Debbie sinks into her living room chair. "I'm scared of what's going to happen to my family," she says. "I want to cry." The police were responding to calls on her daughter Rachael, who they suspected of forgery. Rachael has been struggling with an addiction to perscription pills since 1998. Exhausted, Debbie said "I still care, but it's not enough that I care-nobody else does. It's a crisis situation here in this town; we need help here."
