Leone "Leo" Cardetti, son of 19th century Italian immigrants, is an institution in St. James. Being a business man for over 60 years, he is widely known and respected well beyond the town's borders. Almost everybody in St. James has something good to say about him. However, when he shuts the door of his home at night, the town stays out and Leo Cardetti is alone.
The mural on Leo Cardetti's flag shop depicts the landmarks of St. James, the small town where he has spent almost all his life.
