Ron Fraser and Curt Boulware wait for the dumpster behind the St. James Elementary School to empty into their truck. Fraser says in his thirteen years as a trash collector for the city that the amount of trash he picks up has at least doubled. A study of Missouri landfills conducted in 2006-2007 found that nearly 45% of the municipal solid waste in the state's landfills could be recycled.
