When one of Mary Marshall’s daughters started a paper route at the age of 12, Mary started delivering papers with her. She became so committed to her daughter’s route that she continued to do it, even after her daughter quit. The paper route now provides Mary with some of her income. Mary states, “I like to have money to buy the things I want.”
