Transitioning from her morning role as a cook, Connie takes a moment to embrace her grandson, Brandon, who attends the Brunswick Street program. Connie stresses the importance of closeness to her students at the program, and says she never hesitates to try and brighten their day. "There's never a child who needs a hug that doesn't get it," she says.
