Randy leans in as Connie signs her part of Lora's deployment paperwork. Because the signing was moved up a week, Lora would leave the following afternoon to Kansas City to report for her physical examinations. Since she is still a junior in high school she will not be deployed immediately. For the next year and-a-half, she will take part in training drills each month with the National Guard, in addition to boot camp each summer until her deployment.
