Unable to afford the $5 dollar a month increase for unlimited roaming service, Nick and Ginger Sweeney travel just outside of Marshall to find the only location where phone service is available from their provider. Parked near a large cell tower roadside, they are able to make calls looking for landlords willing to listen to their plight and for possible job opportunities.
"Honestly, if we lied and said we were from New Orleans, we would have all kinds of help, " Nick says, "but we can't lie. How would that look to our kids?"
