Duchesne leads a simple life. “I don’t want anything more
than what I was given,” said Duchesne. But his job is one that few
could perform. “When people ask me what I do I say ‘I’m
a hired killer,” Duchesne says jokingly. Duchesne slaughters livestock at a meat processing establishment just outside Fulton, MO., Farmers from surrounding communities bring their pigs and cattle to Duchesne to be killed and processed into appropriate portions. |
