Seeking a stable career after three years in the Navy, Wade Elder now runs the only barbershop in Perryville. During a shortage of navy barbers, Wade was prompted to pick up scissors and returned home to carry on the 120-year-old family tradition from his cousin. Elder’s Barber Shop is a popular social hub on the town square where men come to tell stories and share the latest gossip.
