Jason Werner, also known as Britney Lynn, lives with his mother and girlfriend in Perry County, Missouri. Three years ago Jason came out to his girlfriend Kristy as transgender. To his surprise, Kristy was extremely supportive. Despite the freedom he’s felt since coming out, he has yet to tell his mother. He fears that she will be distraught, and potentially kick him out of the house. He hopes, however, that he can slowly ease her into understanding. Although he’s been through many struggles he says, “How many people get to say that they will have lived two lives?”
