Story Summary

Identical twins Pablo and Emilio Mattingly are only distinguishable to immediate family. Classmates jokingly run their names together, calling them “PabloEmilio”. Their often-confused identities don’t seem to bother them, as they have the combination of a twin bond and a Hispanic heritage that together stands out in a predominantly white community. The Mattingly’s moved from Leon, Mexico, to Perryville five years ago. The boys have high hopes for their future that include college, scholarships, and even the dream of having a professional soccer career.
