  • Benito Zamora, 25, has worked as a butcher with Special D Meats for the past three years. Born and raised in Macon, Mo., Benito – who goes by Ben, also has a deep passion for tattooing. He and his wife Star, 28, are newly licensed tattoo artists who are striving to make a career out of their passion.

Ben splits his work day between the butcher shop and the tattoo shop.

Due to the couple's work schedule, their three sons, J.D., Pierce and Anton hang out with them at Banzai Tattoo after they come home from school. It's an arrangement that ensures that the boys are taken care of while their parents pay the bills and further their work in tattooing.

Ben leaves for the butcher shop at 5:30 a.m. Work at the cutting floor, where animals are slaughtered, begins at 6 a.m.
